Regular Campus Tours

If you can't make it to one of our regular visit day events, schedule a personal visit by filling out the Campus Visit Request Form. Visits should be scheduled two weeks in advance. Our hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

SCOUT [Students Checking Out University Turf]

Juniors & Seniors, maybe you think you already have all the facts you need about MidAmerica Nazarene University. But how well do you really know something until you've actually experienced it? We invite you to SCOUT MNU!

  • Spend a night with current students in a college dorm!
  • Attend an awesome Chapel service. 
  • Meet some professors and sit in on classes. 
  • Catch the “Pioneer Spirit” at a MNU Basketball game.
  • Visit with current students at a social event.
  • Feel the true MNU Experience!

  • When: October 2-3, 2014 OR January 29-30, 2015
  • Where: Mabee Library
  • Registration is required but this event is free and covers all meals, lodging, and entertainment!
  • Items to bring: sleeping bag, towels and toiletries.
  • Seniors who have completed MNU applications are encouraged to bring their transcripts in order to go through the acceptance process during SCOUT. Our Admissions Team is ready to help!

Waivers may be submitted via mail (Attn: Admissions); faxed (913.971.3481); or scanned and emailed (admissions@mnu.edu). Participants may also bring the forms with them to the event. Participants who fail to provide a completed liability waiver will not be permitted to attend the event.

Ready to enroll?? Pioneer Day is a pre-enrollment day for incoming freshmen and transfer students to register for classes and complete the registration process for Fall 2015. Join us for one of these three enrollment days this summer and you’ll get a chance to:

  • Create your class schedule with an academic advisor
  • Receive your student I.D.
  • Get your MNU mailbox
  • Meet your roommate
  • Find out about our payment plans
  • Finalize your financial aid

MidAmerica Nazarene University is excited to welcome all incoming freshmen students to our Fall 2014 New Student Orientation [NSO]. On Friday, August 22, 2014 residence halls will open at 6 p.m. for new freshman to move in to your assigned rooms.

  • The three days of orientation includes informational, academic and social activities that will maximize the success of your transition into the MNU community.
  • At 3 p.m. Saturday, August 23 all new students and parents will gather in the Bell Center Auditorium, to kick off our NSO activities.

New Student Orientation [NSO] at MidAmerica Nazarene University

Required for all new MNU students

Because we value our new Pioneers and want to do all we can to help you connect with the MNU experience, we do require all incoming students to participate in NSO. You will gain a better understanding of what MNU and the surrounding Olathe community has to offer and make new friends, too. NSO is designed to “orient” you to the MNU experience – you don’t want to miss it!

Your NSO and Freshmen Seminar experience are a staples of the MNU experience. We are sure you’ll make memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait for you to come be a part of MNU. This is where it starts!

For Students

Parents are invited to join in the activities during the first two days. The events of these two days will help you know more about community life at MNU.

Dorms will open at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 22nd so you have plenty of time to settle into your new home before the first NSO activity at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 23rd.
