First Act – Godspell
Godspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz; and it took the world by storm. A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
Olathe’s Got Talent
Olathe’s Got Talent is designed for individual students who want to showcase their talent in a local talent competition. Over $11,000 in scholarships to be awarded by local businesses. Two special scholarships may be available through JCCC and/or MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) for students with an interest in attending those institutions.

KCMTA – Multi Piano Concert
Kansas City Music Teacher’s Association invites you to our Multi-Piano Concert, which features many levels of performers on a stage filled with grand pianos, simultaneously playing duets under the direction of a conductor. Newsies Backstage Experience
Join the characters from Newsies for doughnuts and coffee followed by a guided tour of the backstage and set. Then, have the opportunity to learn fight choreography and a special newspaper choreography section from the show! Finish your morning up with a great photo op!
