MNU offers many pathways for students to become teachers. You can complete your degree and get your license. You can choose a specialty like education technology. Or, if you already have your degree in a specific field, you can enroll in a certificate program to earn your license.
We take teaching seriously at MNU, and we invest in your skills to make sure you can lay a strong foundation for the next generation of students. A degree in education can help you further your own learning, so you can pass on a strong education to your students.
USD 368 is very grateful for our partnership with MidAmerica Nazarene University. As we continue to rely upon the para-to-teacher pipeline to fill our special education teaching positions, MNU has been an active part of that transformation. By offering our staff much needed financial support, flexible scheduling for working adults and a welcoming culture, MNU is one of our employees' go-to higher ed institutions for transiting into certified teachers.
