This week, MNU expressed appreciation to local legislators who represent the districts, including MNU and Johnson County. Guests for the luncheon included Senator Dinah Sikes, Representative Robyn Essex, Representative Allison Houghland, and Representative Nikki McDonald.

Several groups of students traveled to conferences this semester to interact with professionals in their future career fields.  

This April, MNU is the host for Nazarene Student Leadership Conference where student government members meet for training, development and fun.

Neil Friesland, EdD, Class of 1992, professor of education, passed away yesterday evening, February 29, 2024, after a brief illness. Neil was so much a part of the MNU family that his legacy is woven into the fabric of the campus.

MNU is part of a burgeoning national effort to interest, educate, and retain schoolteachers through an apprenticeship program for aspiring teachers. Now, para educators in participating districts can stay in their jobs while earning a bachelor's degree and teaching license online.
